Not a Land Rover specific seat. It is the standard Daytona reclining sport seat supplied with Defender brackets, so you get a proven seat and the fitting is handled.

Why it suits a Defender

A Defender is driven for hours over rough ground, and the Daytona is built for exactly that. An orthopaedic backrest supports the length of your back, lumbar support works underneath it, and deep side bolsters stop you being thrown about.

At 580mm across it is the widest recliner Cobra make, which matters in a vehicle you sit in wearing a coat.

The seat

865mm tall, 620mm deep, on a 530mm base, at 13.5kg. Reclining, base mount, with a four point harness facility through a single slot in the integral head pad.

The reclining mechanism is tested and approved to ECE R17 and FMVSS207, the regulations covering seat and anchorage strength.

Road and Track approved rather than FIA homologated.

Will I fit in this seat?
The maker sizes this seat for drivers with a 36in to 38in or 32in to 36in waist. Those are the paper numbers; how a seat actually feels to sit in is a different question, and our showroom team sit in these seats every day, so call us and we will give you the honest answer.

What do I need to fit it to my car?

Each seat is built to the specification you choose, which is why the wait is what it is: on average around 4 to 6 weeks, depending on the trim and options.

Cobra do not allow queue jumping. Orders are produced in the order they are received, so the earlier yours is placed the earlier it is built.

Made to your specification

Because each seat is made for your order rather than picked off a shelf, a made-to-specification seat cannot be cancelled once it is in production, and our special order terms apply.
