The SW Motorsport side mounts are the reason to buy this as a package rather than assembling it. They are cut for the Megane Mk2 specifically, so the seat sits where it should rather than wherever a universal bracket puts it.

The seats

OMP ARS in fibreglass, FIA approved, side mount, trimmed in 3D SpaceTech. SpaceTech is a knitted three dimensional fabric built to move air through itself, which in a closed car on a hot day is a genuine comfort difference rather than a marketing one.

FIA seats expire on a date tied to manufacture rather than purchase. Ask us to read the date off current stock before you order if the seats have to cover a season.

Getting the height right

The SW mounts are the low option, which is what most people fitting a bucket to a Megane want: the standard driving position is high, and a competition seat mounted high defeats half the point.

Set the seat position before you fix harness anchor points. Seat height decides where the shoulder straps are allowed to run.
