Steel, on the 345mm by 271mm base mount pattern, bolting to the floor mounting points Volkswagen already put in the car. That pattern takes Sparco, OMP and Corbeau base mount seats, so the frames are not tied to Sparco shells whatever older copy on this range said.
A side mount competition bucket needs side mounts or adaption bars fitted above the frame.
