The seats

The Sprint is FIA approved and built on a tubular steel structure rather than a moulded composite shell, which is what keeps a homologated seat at this price. It is heavier than a fibreglass seat and it does the same job at scrutineering. Fixed back, six point compatible, trimmed in 3D SpaceTech.

SpaceTech is a knitted three dimensional fabric built to move air through itself, and in a closed car on a warm day that is a genuine comfort difference.

Being FIA approved, the seats carry an expiry tied to the year they were made rather than the year you bought them. Ask us to read the date off current stock if they have to cover a season.

The frames

Sparco direct fit sub-frames for the Carisma, driver and passenger, base mount on the 345mm by 271mm pattern. They bolt to the floor mounting points already in the car, so the original seats come out whole and can go back in.

Sparco produce in batches and we receive Sparco products on a weekly basis, so the popular seats, harnesses and accessories are usually available for quick dispatch.

Less common models and colours are ordered in for you and take longer.

Tell us when you order and we will confirm the lead time up front rather than after the event. If it is on the shelf we will say so, and if it is coming in on the next delivery we will tell you when that is.
