A pair of OMP First two inch saloon harnesses in black. Part number DA0208H071-X2.
Two inch webbing on the shoulders and the lap, and that is the specification that matters. Two inch is the width that locates correctly on a head and neck restraint yoke and feeds crash load into the device the way it was tested to take it. A three inch strap slides off.
If you run a HANS, or your class requires one, this is the belt in the First range to buy and the three inch version is not.
Specification
Aircraft style buckle, clip in fittings, black webbing. The First range is OMP’s entry level line, aimed at clubman racers who want current standards without professional prices. On a harness that means the same approval as the belts above it with heavier hardware.
One thing to confirm
Our listing does not currently state the point count for this harness. Since that changes what anchor points you need in the car, ask us before you order and we will confirm it against OMP’s own data rather than have you work from an assumption.
Fitting
Get the anchor geometry settled first. Shoulder straps must run level or slightly downward from your shoulders to the bar behind you and never upward, and seat height decides that. Fit the seat first.
Both sets carry the same manufacture date. Ask us to read it off current stock.
