Two Sabelt Steel Saloon 4 Point Harnesses in black, part number CFCI2118S433SU4F-X2, both approved to FIA 8854-1998. Aircraft-type buckle. Clip-in installation. Not HANS compatible. Shoulder and lap webbing both 3 inch. Price of £340 covers both harnesses; both are black only.
FIA 8854-1998 is the 4-point harness standard. Most current UK club racing regulations require a 6-point layout under FIA 8853-2016; check your class rules before ordering a 4-point. Where 4-point harnesses are permitted or where the car is used for track days only, these meet the approval requirement.
Aircraft buckle with clip-in installation: the shoulder straps clip around a crossbar or cage bar behind the seat rather than bolting to fixed anchor points. This suits cars with a roll cage or harness bar but without pre-drilled eye bolt positions.
Not HANS compatible means these harnesses do not have the geometry for use with a HANS device. For series or events where a HANS device is mandatory, a HANS friendly or HANS specific harness is required.
The twin pack is priced at £340, the same as buying two single-unit Steel 4-point harnesses individually. The benefit is a single purchase that covers both seats in a two-driver car, both in matched black webbing.
For a competition 6-point alternative, the Steel Race/Rally 3×3 6 Point (CFCI1335S633S, £205) is the next step up in the Sabelt FIA-approved harness range.
