We recently had the pleasure of supplying a customer with a full interior upgrade for their Ford Focus Mk3, and the end result looks incredible. They opted for a pair of Corbeau Sprint XL fixed-back FIA-approved bucket seats in black velour, paired with a matching pair of red Schroth Profi II-FE ASM 4-point harness belts. The combination completely transforms the driving position and interior feel of the Focus, giving it the support, safety, and style needed for serious track use.

Installation – How Our Customer Built Their Setup
For this build, our customer used a Planted Technology seat sub-frame designed specifically for the Ford Focus Mk3. We always recommend choosing a vehicle-specific frame where possible, as it ensures perfect alignment with the factory floor bolt points and significantly improves installation strength and safety.
The Corbeau Sprint XL seats were fitted using universal side mounts, secured with M10 bolts that match the seat’s mounting points. The Planted frame also accepts sliding runners as an optional extra, although we only recommend these for road or casual track use. For competitive motorsport, a fixed-mount setup is always the safest choice.
The Planted Technology frame is one of the best options for this car because it includes all three common bolt patterns used by most aftermarket bucket seats and recliners. This means the same frame can support a wide variety of seat models, offering more flexibility for future upgrades.
