An E82 135i owner asked which sliding runners mount Recaro Sportster CS seats to the car. The answer: the Planted Technology SB139 bracket at £224.95 a side plus the Recaro double locking runner set at £365.40, and the same stack carries the Recaro Speed.
There is no standard seat bolt pattern. Every pattern across the brands we sell, drawn to scale: the shared Sparco and OMP holes, the Corbeau double drilling, the Recaro lock, Cobra designed sets, BRIDE rail types and the measurements that settle any seat before you buy.
The five reclining sport seats we recommend for the Vauxhall Astra Mk1 (Kadett), built around the Cobra direct-fit subframe that bolts to the factory mounting points. Runner included in the frame price.
A customer building a BMW track car has his harness bar mounted well back and asked if he needs longer shoulder straps. Saloon length is the default, and it is cut to reach.
The Corbeau Sportsman is one of the narrowest reclining seats we sell, 41.5cm at its widest. The actual dimensions, real customer cars it has gone into, and the honest limit of how compact it is: the cushion is narrow too, so it is not the seat for a larger driver.
The five reclining sport seats we recommend for the Vauxhall Astra Mk2, built around the Cobra Adaption Subframe that bolts to the factory mounting points. Runner sold separately for fore-aft adjustment.
Recaro SR seats are Recaro Japan, not part of the European range, so nobody here sells you the fitting kit with the seat. They mount on the 405mm Recaro base pattern, which means a Planted Technology bracket and a Recaro double locking runner per seat. Here is the stack, a worked BMW E46 example with the numbers, and the cars we do this on most.
A four point needs two shoulder anchorages and the centre rear seat has none. Why a three point is usually the answer, what road legal actually means, and what to look for under your own back seat before you order anything.
The five reclining sport seats we recommend for the Skoda Octavia Mk2, with the Cobra Direct Fit Subframe route that bolts each one straight to the factory mounting points. Runner included in the frame price.
The five reclining sport seats we rate for the Porsche 911 964 (1989 to 1994), with the Cobra direct-fit subframe and Planted Technology bracket routes and a full runner compatibility table.
Every three point road harness we sell, brand by brand, with the ten we would pick first. Plus what a three point actually is, which is not what most listings say, and the anchorage method almost all of them use.
Why narrow racing seats exist, what waist sizing tells you and does not, and which of our current models actually publish a narrower fit for small-bodied cars.
