TRS Magnum Superlite 6 Point FIA Mazda MX-5 Mk1 Mk2 Harness Belt

This is the TRS Magnum Superlite 6 Point FIA harness, cut specifically for the Mazda MX-5 Mk1 (NA) and Mk2 (NB). It is the same belt as the standard version, on the same FIA 8853-2016 homologation and with the same buckle and webbing, with the shoulder straps made shorter to suit the distance between the seat and a roll bar or harness bar in an MX-5.

What the MX-5 version changes

• Shoulder straps are cut shorter for the MX-5, approximately 105cm from the adjuster to the end of the strap against roughly 150cm on the standard belt.
• Once wrapped around your bar that leaves no loose webbing behind the shoulders, and the three bar slide finishes close to the bar where it should sit.
• Supplied to wrap around a roll bar or harness bar. There are no end fittings on the shoulder straps, so a bar behind the seats is required.

Specification

• Six point, FIA 8853-2016 homologated. The expiry is printed on the label inside the belt.
• 3 inch (75mm) shoulder straps and 3 inch lap straps.
• Aircraft style rotary quick release buckle.
• Superlite specification, with aluminium adjusters on the shoulder straps.
• Works with or without a head restraint.
• Intercom cable securing tab on the shoulder strap, thumb loops on the lower shoulder straps and Velcro patches on the lap straps.

Made to order. The MX-5 cut is not a shelf item, it is made to length by TRS, so tell us when you order if you need it for a date and we will confirm the lead time. Fitment. Listed for the MX-5 Mk1 and Mk2. For a Mk3 or Mk4 the bar position differs, so ask us and we will work out the length you need.
