Come With Us To Gravity Show 2025
Event news, September 2025
Gravity Show came back to the NEC in Birmingham on 23 and 24 August 2025, and it felt like the biggest Gravity yet. Spread across several halls and an outdoor arena, it brought every corner of car culture together for the weekend: supercars, clean classics, drift cars, show builds and lowriders.
The organisers say more than 35,000 people come through the doors each year, and the halls were busy from the moment we arrived. Here is what caught our eye, with a close look at the interiors, because seats and harnesses are what we do.
- Gravity Show 2025, NEC Birmingham, 23 and 24 August
- Drift battles and show runs from the CrewSade team in the outdoor arena
- Seat and harness highlights: Auto Style BS5 with Luke harnesses, Recaro Sportster CS with Takata belts
- Lando Norris's Liberty Walk Skyline R32 on the Liberty Walk stand
- The organisers gave away their Liberty Walk Lamborghini Huracan

The live arena: drift battles and more
The outdoor arena never went quiet. Crowds packed round the drift area all weekend to watch the CrewSade team, an international drift crew known for an aggressive, creative style. They ran head to head battles, close tandems and smoky show runs, and this year there was a military tank parked in the arena as an obstacle, with drivers throwing their cars sideways round it.
Alongside the drifting there were BMX riders landing backflips and lowriders bringing a bit of West Coast culture to Birmingham. Inside, car reveals and meet and greets with online personalities kept the halls busy. Whether you were inside or out, there was always something going on.
Builds that stopped us
BMW E31 widebody. A BMW 8 Series in a dark metallic finish that shimmered under the NEC lights, with a wide bolt on body kit and polished wheels. Low and wide, it gave the big grand tourer a completely new stance, and the quality of the work had people coming back for another look.
Twin engined Vauxhall. One of the wildest bits of engineering we saw: a Vauxhall with an engine at each end. It was not just for show, and it had people talking all weekend.
The halls were full of builds like this Silvia S13: clean, low and finished with period style wheels. Japanese cars were everywhere this year, from mild show builds to full drift cars.
If you went to Gravity last year, our write up of Gravity Show 2024 shows how much the event has grown.

A VW Transporter with a matching boat
One of the best show setups was a VW Transporter pickup in metallic copper and lime green, towing a speedboat and jet ski in the same colours. Inside, it was just as well finished. The cab had Auto Style Type BS5 reclining sport seats with Luke 4 point Sport-Lite harnesses, which gave it a motorsport feel while staying usable on the road.
- Auto Style BS5: a reclining sport seat with a stiff, glass fibre reinforced backrest and supportive bolsters.
- Luke GHR 4 point Sport-Lite: a light 4 point harness that looks the part in a road build.
It showed that Gravity is about lifestyle as much as cars.
Subaru Impreza with Recaro Sportster CS seats and Takata harnesses
A classic Impreza coupe on gold wheels caught our eye straight away. Inside, it had Recaro Sportster CS reclining seats paired with green Takata Race 4 point harnesses.
- Recaro Sportster CS: a recliner with the support of a bucket seat and the adjustment of a road seat.
- Takata Race 4: Takata's green 4 point harness, with snap on fittings.
It looked great, and it is a setup that works on fast road drives and track days alike.

The Liberty Walk stand
The Liberty Walk stand has become a Gravity fixture, and it pulled huge crowds again. The star was the Nissan Skyline R32 that Liberty Walk built for Lando Norris with Quadrant: wide arches, bespoke aero and sharp details, and one of the most photographed cars of the weekend.
More cars we loved
- KTM X-Bow GT-XR: a road legal track car with a full carbon fibre body.
- Custom BMW E30: rebuilt with a bespoke interior, wide arches and aftermarket wheels.
- Ford Escort Mk1: in pearl white, one of the cleanest we have seen.
- Mk5 Toyota Supra: modern tuning culture at its best.
- Nissan Skyline R32: with custom rear lights that gave an icon a fresh look.
The finale: a Lamborghini giveaway
To finish, the Gravity team gave away their Liberty Walk Lamborghini Huracan, one of the best known show cars in the UK scene. The competition had been running for months, and the winner was announced live on the final day, with a packed crowd waiting to find out who would drive it home.
For us, the mix was what stood out: wild engineering like the twin engined Vauxhall, show quality interiors like the Transporter and the Impreza, and the sheer size of the event. If a show interior has given you ideas, Garreth’s advice is to sit in the seats before you choose, and our showroom is the place to do it. We will be back for 2026.
