Recaro’s direct fit sub-frame for the BMW M2, 375 per frame, which is per seat.

Fitment

The F87 M2 of 2016 to 2021 sits on the F22 floor, and Recaro’s frame for the F22 is the one we list here under the M2, because the M2 owner searches for an M2 frame and Recaro do not list one by that name.

The mounts in between

The frame is the bottom of a three-part stack: frame, Recaro side mounts, seat. Recaro test and homologate the seat with their own side mounts as a whole, so the mounts are the ones to use, and they are ordered separately.

A car-specific base for a Recaro seat: it fixes through the factory seat mounting points and decides how low and how far back the seat sits.

What will be in the box? There are several types of seat frames which may be supplied depending on the vehicle and application. You may receive 1 of the following 4 types. If you are using them with a certain seat, please contact us in advance for professional advice.

#4. An adaption bracket kit

Additional seat belt brackets: Each seat frame can be used for a variety of applications including road car reclining seats throuh to Motorsport FIA seats. Seat belt brackets are not required in a range of application so manufacturers generally do not supply them with their frame kits. If you require seat belt brackets please contact us in advance

Check the bolt pattern in the specification against your seat. The Compatible seats tab above lists what bolts straight on. If your seat is not listed, tell us what you run and we will confirm the fit.

Do I keep fore-and-aft adjustment?
Only with a sliding runner between the frame and the seat, which is a separate part on Recaro frames. If more than one person drives the car, budget for the runner. Our guide to sliding runners explains the options and widths.

Recaro seats are produced in batches for the UK market

We receive Recaro deliveries regularly and hold good stock of the popular models, so many go out quickly.

Demand for the bucket seats is worldwide and production runs to Recaro’s own schedule, so the less common models and trims can take considerably longer. Ask us and we will tell you where a specific seat stands.

Before you order

If you need a seat for a date, ring us first. We would rather give you an honest lead time up front than have you waiting on a seat that is between production runs.
