The GS is OMP current office chair, part number HA0-0835-A01, and it sits alongside the older HA777 rather than replacing it.

Steel frame, vinyl trim, shaped as a racing seat with bolsters either side of the centre panels. Height runs on a gas lift, the base is a five arm star on castors, and the backrest reclines. Armrests are fitted. Where it differs from the HA777 is styling: the GS has a squarer shoulder line and a more modern panel layout, and OMP put it in a shorter list of colours.

Colours

Black on its own, black with yellow, black with red, or black with OMP Airnet mesh through the centre. Airnet is the one to pick for a warm room or a long day, since mesh moves air behind your back where vinyl holds heat.

OMP list it as suiting drivers of any height, with waist sizing quoted from 28 inches through to 38. That is a wide bracket and it reflects the seat being a road shape rather than a competition one. If you are at either end of that range and want to be certain, ask us and we will get you the internal measurements before you buy.

Between the three OMP chairs, the HA777 is the softer, older shape with removable armrests, the GS is the current mainstream chair, and the GS-X is the same idea in louder colours. If you cannot decide between them on the photographs, call us.

Will I fit in this chair?

Does it fit a standard office base?
This chair comes as a complete unit with its base, so there is nothing to adapt: it arrives, you roll it under the desk. If you were after a racing shell for a sim rig instead, ask us, as that uses different mounting.

Can I use it in a car?
No. Office and gaming chairs in this range are built for the desk and the rig, not for vehicle use, and they carry no automotive approvals. For the car, the same look comes from our road-legal sport seats, and we will happily point you at the closest equivalent.

Availability

OMP deliveries arrive every two weeks

OMP produce in batches and we receive their products on a fortnightly basis, so their most popular seats, harnesses and equipment are generally available for quick dispatch.

Reclining sport seats and less common trims are brought in to order, so those take longer.

We carry a large amount of stock at our showroom and across multiple distribution hubs.
