One Recaro direct fit sub-frame for the Fiat 500, 309.75; a passenger seat needs a second one.

Which model

The 2007-on 500, Abarth included. A 500 with a bucket seat in it needs the frame to sit the seat low enough for a helmet, which is what a direct fit frame does and a universal one rarely manages. One frame, one side.

The car side of the fitting

No drilling. The frame uses the mounting points already in the floor and puts the seat where a Recaro shell should sit in this car.

The mounts in between

A Recaro seat sits on Recaro side mounts, fixed or flexible, and the mounts sit on this frame. The mounts are not included. Recaro homologate them with the seat as one system, so they come from Recaro and from their own page.

What will be in the box? There are several types of seat frames which may be supplied depending on the vehicle and application. You may receive 1 of the following 4 types. If you are using them with a certain seat, please contact us in advance for professional advice.

#2. A full replacement frame with a sliding runner

#4. An adaption bracket kit

Additional seat belt brackets: Each seat frame can be used for a variety of applications including road car reclining seats throuh to Motorsport FIA seats. Seat belt brackets are not required in a range of application so manufacturers generally do not supply them with their frame kits. If you require seat belt brackets please contact us in advance

Which seats does it take?
Check the bolt pattern in the specification against your seat. The Compatible seats tab above lists what bolts straight on. If your seat is not listed, tell us what you run and we will confirm the fit.

Do I keep fore-and-aft adjustment?
Only with a sliding runner between the frame and the seat, which is a separate part on Recaro frames. If more than one person drives the car, budget for the runner. Our guide to sliding runners explains the options and widths.

Recaro seats are produced in batches for the UK market

We receive Recaro deliveries regularly and hold good stock of the popular models, so many go out quickly.

Demand for the bucket seats is worldwide and production runs to Recaro’s own schedule, so the less common models and trims can take considerably longer. Ask us and we will tell you where a specific seat stands.

Before you order

If you need a seat for a date, ring us first. We would rather give you an honest lead time up front than have you waiting on a seat that is between production runs.
