Recaro sub-frame for the Volkswagen Golf Mk7 at 430.5. The price is for one side.

The car it is for

The 2013 to 2020 Golf, GTI, R and the Mk7.5 facelift. Recaro use one frame for the Golf Mk7, the Octavia Mk3 and the Leon 5F, and this is that frame under the Golf’s name.

The mounts in between

Side mounts first: a Recaro seat hangs on its own fixed or flexible side mounts, which bolt to this frame. Seat plus Recaro side mounts is what Recaro homologate, which is why the mounts are Recaro’s and why they are not in the box with the frame.

Direct fit

It bolts to the seat mounting points the factory left in the floor, so nothing is drilled, and it carries a Recaro seat at the height the seat was designed to sit.

#3. A full replacement frame only
#4. An adaption bracket kit

Additional seat belt brackets: Each seat frame can be used for a variety of applications including road car reclining seats throuh to Motorsport FIA seats. Seat belt brackets are not required in a range of application so manufacturers generally do not supply them with their frame kits. If you require seat belt brackets please contact us in advance

Do I keep fore-and-aft adjustment?
Only with a sliding runner between the frame and the seat, which is a separate part on Recaro frames. If more than one person drives the car, budget for the runner. Our guide to sliding runners explains the options and widths.

Recaro seats are produced in batches for the UK market

We receive Recaro deliveries regularly and hold good stock of the popular models, so many go out quickly.

Demand for the bucket seats is worldwide and production runs to Recaro’s own schedule, so the less common models and trims can take considerably longer. Ask us and we will tell you where a specific seat stands.

Before you order

If you need a seat for a date, ring us first. We would rather give you an honest lead time up front than have you waiting on a seat that is between production runs.

Due to the specialist nature of our services, we do ask that you please contact us in advance to book an appointment. We have multiple slots available each day including selected availability at the weekend.
