A Forester is not a low car, and that changes the job
You are usually not chasing a lower driving position here. You are chasing support, because the standard seat lets you move about and a Forester is often being driven somewhere a road car would not go.
That points at a different seat from the one a track car wants: something with real bolsters that you can still get in and out of easily, rather than the deepest shell we sell.
Shared with the Impreza
The HC813 stem covers the Impreza WRX and STI as well, which is unsurprising given what the two cars share underneath.
Useful if you run both, or if you have seen a seat working in an Impreza and wondered whether it carries across.
What the frame gives you
Two bolt patterns, because the plates carry multi-hole clusters at each corner. 345mm by 271mm covers Sparco, OMP and Corbeau base mount seats; 405mm by 290mm covers Recaro.
An OMP frame therefore accepts a Recaro where a Sparco frame will not, which is worth having on a car where plenty of owners have a preference.
Fitting and ordering
Steel, base mount, bolting to the mounting points already in the floor, so nothing is drilled and the standard seats come out whole.
Sold singly and handed. Order twice for a pair. A side mount shell needs side mounts or adaption bars over the frame.
