Lotus had a hand in it
Toyota brought in Lotus during development, and Roger Becker worked on the suspension. That is why an AW11 handles the way it does and why it still feels alive in a way its modest power does not explain.
The supercharged 4A-GZE version is the one people chase, and it was never officially sold here.

An AW11 is small and the roofline is low, particularly on the T-bar cars. Shell width and height both matter more than the bracket does. Tell us your height and build before you order, because there are shells that will not go into this car.
