A PCI Racing sliding sub frame for the Honda Civic EP3, 2001 to 2005. Part number SM-EP-S1.
The EP3 is one of the most commonly seated cars there is, and the reason is the standard driving position. Honda put the driver high, and the single most effective change you can make to how the car feels is getting the seat down.
Slider or lower
This is the slider version, so the seat moves fore and aft after fitting. That suits an EP3 that is still driven on the road and occasionally lent out.
If the car is a dedicated track car and height is the priority, ask us whether PCI make an adjustable mount for it. Their adjustable mounts give the lowest fitment in the range at the cost of the seat no longer moving, and in a car where you are trying to get down that is a real option.
Construction
Laser cut and CNC formed from a single piece of 1/8 inch carbon steel, with the bends placed to add stiffness rather than using thicker metal throughout. Gloss black powder coat, grade 10.9 8mm hardware, and five and six point sub belt mounting locations built into the mount, which saves fabricating a crotch strap anchor.
PCI’s S1 slider bolts to the base with four bolts where a conventional slider uses two, which they rate as twice as strong.

Do I keep fore-and-aft adjustment?

Base mount or side mount, and does it matter?
