The Takata Race E46 Bucket Seat Package includes a Takata Race LE competition bucket seat with E46-specific side mount brackets and a Takata Drift III Snap-On harness. The E46 is the third-generation BMW 3 Series, produced from 1998 to 2006.
The E46 M3 used the S54 straight-six producing 343hp in standard form. The M3 CSL variant removed 65kg through a carbon roof, revised HVAC, and door strakes, and is limited to 1,383 units worldwide; it is widely regarded as the most resolved driver’s car of the generation. The E46’s suspension geometry uses a multi-link rear axle with revised parameters compared to the E36, giving more precise self-steer behaviour that makes the E46 better balanced as a track car than its predecessor even in base 318 or 320 specification.
