An OMP direct fit subframe for the Vauxhall and Opel Corsa C. Part number HC841.
The Corsa C ran from 2000 to 2006. The Corsa B before it takes HC785 and the two do not interchange, so order on the generation.
The VXR and SRi
The VXR is the one people build, and it is quick enough that the standard seat becomes the limit. Everything else in the range is cheap transport, which is also a perfectly good starting point for a first track car.
Check the floor first
These rust and almost none have been cherished. Lift the carpet and look at the metal round the seat mounting points before you spend anything, because a subframe can only feed seat load into sound structure and on this car that is a real question.
Space and weight
Small inside and light, so shell width matters and a heavy steel seat gives back a slice of the car’s advantage. Tell us your height and build.
What else you need
Side mounts and the seat. The plates carry multi-hole clusters at each corner, which gives two bolt patterns. Sparco, OMP and Corbeau base mount seats all bolt to the 345mm by 271mm spacing, and Recaro to the wider 405mm by 290mm, so factory Recaros can be reused. Cobra are the exception at 291mm by 330mm and need multi hole side mounts.

Will this fit my car?
This frame is made for the Vauxhall Corsa C. Chassis code and years matter more than the badge, as floor pans change between generations, so if your car sits near a changeover year, send us the registration and we will confirm before you order.
Which seats does it take?
It takes seats drilled 345mm x 271mm (the Sparco and OMP seat pattern) and 405mm x 290mm (the Recaro seat pattern). If your seat is not listed, tell us what you run and we will confirm the fit.
Do I keep fore-and-aft adjustment?
Only with a sliding runner between the frame and the seat, which is a separate part on OMP frames. If more than one person drives the car, budget for the runner. Our guide to sliding runners explains the options and widths.
Base mount or side mount, and does it matter?
This is a base-mount frame: the seat bolts down through its base, the simpler stack that suits seats with a flat bottom and keeps the install low-fuss. Our guide on base mount versus side mount explains the whole fitting stack.
