The generation is the whole question
The Celica ran across seven generations over thirty years and they share almost nothing underneath. This frame is for the last of them and it will not go near an earlier car.
The sixth generation ST and GT are listed separately on their own stem. If you are working from an import document rather than a UK V5, send it to us and we will read it, because that is a common situation on this car.
What the last Celica needs
A compact two door body on a front wheel drive platform, and the GT and GT-S turn up at track days regularly. The standard seat is the usual story on a car of this age: the foam has gone and the bolster with it.
You are replacing something worn rather than something merely unsuitable, which is why the change feels bigger here than on a modern car.
The frame
Steel, base mount, on the mounting points Toyota already provided, so nothing is drilled and the originals come out whole for a car people are increasingly restoring.
Two bolt patterns from the multi-hole clusters at each corner: 345mm by 271mm for Sparco, OMP and Corbeau, 405mm by 290mm for Recaro.

Which seats does it take?
It takes seats drilled 345mm x 271mm (the Sparco and OMP seat pattern) and 405mm x 290mm (the Recaro seat pattern). If your seat is not listed, tell us what you run and we will confirm the fit.
Do I keep fore-and-aft adjustment?
Only with a sliding runner between the frame and the seat, which is a separate part on OMP frames. If more than one person drives the car, budget for the runner. Our guide to sliding runners explains the options and widths.
Base mount or side mount, and does it matter?
