Seat Leon Cupra With Sparco Rev QRT Bucket Seats

We recently supplied a customer with a pair of Sparco Rev QRT bucket seats and the fitting frames for a Seat Leon Cupra, and the photos of the finished car have come in.
The Leon looks great and is now ready for track action. It is a good example of how much a car changes when the driver is held properly, and how tidy a bolt-in seat job can be.

The car and the seats
Our customer wanted the Leon ready for track days, and the seats were the place to start. A standard seat lets you slide around under braking and through corners, so you end up holding yourself in place with the wheel. The right bucket seat takes that job away, and the extra support it gives is the key to driving consistently.
The pair of Sparco Rev QRT seats went in on frames made for the car, and the photos show how neat the result is.
The Rev QRT is the first seat in Sparco's lightweight QRT range, and one of the new additions for 2020. Its revised shell is larger than the original Rev but smaller than the old Rev II, and we suggest it for drivers with around a 34 inch waist and up to 6ft tall.
QRT is Sparco's own resin process for fibreglass shells, which makes them lighter than a seat made the traditional way. Our guide to the Sparco QRT range compares the rest of the family.
Bucket seats for a Seat Leon

Frames are made for a specific model, so make sure you order the right one. Garreth’s advice is to send us your height, waist and the car’s registration, and we will confirm the seat and frame before anything is ordered. If the plan is harnesses as well, think about where the shoulder straps will mount at the same time.
