Our Safety Devices roll cages for Vauxhall and Opel models have just been updated for 2023. The range is a wide one, from the Corsa and Astra to classics like the Manta, Ascona, Chevette and Viva, with bolt-in and weld-in cages.
Every listing now sets out the options clearly: cage layout, door bars and colour. New with this update, there is a rear cage version of every full Vauxhall cage. Here is what the range covers.

The Vauxhall range
For the modern cars there are cages for the Corsa A, which was also sold as the Nova, the Corsa B and the Corsa C, with 6 point bolt-in cages for all three, multipoint bolt-in cages for the A and B, and CDS weld-in cages for the A and B. The Astra is covered from the Mk1 to the Mk5, including multipoint bolt-in cages for the Mk3 and Mk4 and a weld-in cage for the Mk3.
The classic side is just as broad: the Manta A and B, the Ascona A and B, the Kadett C, the Chevette, the Magnum and the Viva HC, plus the Frontera Sport. Every listing now carries up to date information on approvals, prices and the exact models and years it fits, and not every cage is homologated for competition, so check the listing against how the car will be used.

Door bars and colours
The full cages can be ordered with door bars on both sides or without, and there are several door bar specifications. Some cages take universal door bars and others take single door bars made for that cage, and the choice changes the design of the whole cage, so it is worth deciding early.
The bolt-in cages come in black powder coat as standard, with other colours such as grey, silver, white and red to order, and unpainted by special request. The listing for each cage shows its own colour choices. If you are after something different, ask us and we will see what can be done.
Rear cages on their own
From this update, every full Vauxhall cage has a rear cage version listed, without the front section or door bars. There are several designs: a single diagonal, a single diagonal with a harness bar, or a cross diagonal with a harness bar, depending on the car.
For a Corsa or Astra that does track days, a rear cage with a harness bar is a sensible first step: it gives the harness a proper mounting point and keeps the front of the car easy to get in and out of.
