Wool tartan fabric in MacMillan Old Modern, sold by the metre for seat re-trimming. Part number Corbeau-Tartan-MacMillan-old-Modern.

MacMillan Old Modern has black as the dominant ground, overlaid with red and a muted yellow crossing stripe. The Modern colourway means fully saturated thread. Against a black vinyl seat surround, the black-dominant MacMillan is the most understated pattern in this range: the tartan is present but does not demand attention the way a red or green-dominant pattern does. Width 140cm. Weight 415 grams per square metre (13oz per yard).

Same construction as the Cobra and Corbeau tartan seat editions. Sold separately for seat recovery work, panel repair, or building an interior to this pattern. At 415g/m², upholstery-weight wool suitable for trim use.

One metre covers a centre panel; two metres typically covers back and base panels in a full retrim. No foam or backing included.

Each seat is built to the specification you choose, which is why the wait is what it is: on average around 4 to 6 weeks, depending on the trim and options.

Cobra do not allow queue jumping. Orders are produced in the order they are received, so the earlier yours is placed the earlier it is built.

Because each seat is made for your order rather than picked off a shelf, a made-to-specification seat cannot be cancelled once it is in production, and our special order terms apply.
