The TRS Map Pocket Large (part number 24K0370) is a 40cm x 26cm door-mounted pocket for pace notes, road books and navigation equipment. Fixing clips are supplied; the base screws to the door card or any flat panel, and the pocket presses into it. No permanent modification to the car is needed beyond the fixing screws.
The pocket has an elasticated outer panel that holds flat documents in place and allows access without unclipping or unzipping anything, which matters when a co-driver is retrieving notes at speed. Inside, a net section lets you see what is stored without pulling everything out to find it.
At £13.28 this is the cheapest item TRS makes. Build quality is the same as everything else they produce in Doncaster, which means it does not fall apart after one rally season the way van-spec document pockets often do.
The natural use is a rally car, but the pocket works in any application where flat documents need to be accessible quickly: a transporter cab, a motorhome, a tow vehicle, or a boat. The fixing clip system is universal and does not need a rally car door to mount to.
One size. If you need a smaller version, TRS makes a smaller map pocket in the same design, which is a separate listing. The 40cm x 26cm format is the large version.
