A short-loop choker strap for axle and recovery applications. Part number 23L5110. 50mm (2-inch) webbing, 0.5 metres long, rated to 3,000kg.

The 0.5-metre length is sized to loop tightly around an axle, suspension arm, or chassis tube, with the hook or attachment point at the working end connecting to a longer ratchet strap or recovery winch. A short choker near the anchor point is stronger for the load rating than a long strap run at an angle: the 3,000kg rating reflects the short, close-to-load geometry. Used as one choker per axle, a pair of these handles most vehicle-recovery and flat-bed loading scenarios when connected to a ratchet strap or winch.

This is not a standalone ratchet strap; it is the axle attachment that connects a ratchet or winch to the vehicle. TRS also make longer lashing straps in the 50mm range: the snap-hook ratchet versions run from £15 (23L0215, 1,500kg) to £18 (MA630-0002, 2,200kg), and the 4m heavy-duty choker (MA601-0004) is £21.

TRS harnesses are held in depth

TRS produce in batches and we take deliveries weekly, and we hold large stocks of their most popular models. Most orders go out the same day.

Less common models and colours are a different matter, and can take up to a few weeks.
