The Tillett TBB5, listed under the original code TB2, is the side mount bracket for the Tillett B5 seat. SKU TB2. Construction is 5 mm aluminium, black.
Side mounts bolt to the flanges at each side of the seat shell and connect it to a fitting frame running to the car floor. Running a seat on side mounts typically gets it lower in the car than base mounting allows and gives some scope for seat angle adjustment through the available bolt positions.
The B5 reached end of production in July 2026 and has been replaced by the B12. If you are fitting or replacing brackets on an existing B5, the TBB5 is the correct mount. The B12 uses Tillett’s standard bracket range and is not compatible with TBB5 brackets, so B5 owners looking at upgrading to the B12 will need new brackets for the new seat.
Mount both sides evenly and check that the bolts clear the seat shell and harness slots before fully tightening. If you are not sure the TBB5 is correct for your specific B5 car setup, ask us with the frame details.
Will this fit my seat and car?

Do I still need a sliding runner?
Only if you want fore-and-aft adjustment: the runner sits between this hardware and the seat or floor depending on the stack. Our sliding runner guide explains the options and widths.

These carbon seats are handcrafted in the UK for each order. We do not stock or display them in the showroom, so everything is a special order placed with Tillett when you buy.
