The Sparco BMW Mini R53 sub-frame (00499038) is the vehicle-specific floor frame for fitting a base-mount seat into an R53 Mini. It covers Minis built from October 2001 to 2007, which is the first-generation Cooper and Cooper S hatchback. The R56 that followed uses a different frame (00499038-1).
These frames are handed, meaning driver-side and passenger-side are separate parts. Select the position you need from the options menu. For both seats, add to basket twice and choose the appropriate side each time.
Pricing is £81.50 per frame for one seat position. The top plate uses Sparco’s standard 345mm x 271mm bolt pattern and accepts Sparco, OMP, and Corbeau base-mount seats. If you want fore-aft adjustment as well, the Sparco sliding runners (0049306) go between this frame and the seat.
