The Evo QRT X is the waterproof version of Sparco’s Evo competition seat, available across three shell widths: standard Evo, Evo L, and Evo XL. All three carry FIA 8855-1999 homologation, accept 6-point harnesses, and are HANS compatible.
The waterproof treatment makes this the right choice for rally, off-road, or any application where the seat is likely to get wet. The standard Evo QRT uses fabric trim, which absorbs moisture and holds it. The X variant uses a waterproof vinyl-type trim throughout the shell, so it can be wiped down after a wet stage or a soggy circuit session.
Shell sizing is the key decision. The standard Evo shell fits most drivers at a 32-36 inch waist. Evo L and Evo XL are for broader-framed or heavier drivers where the standard shell is too tight to drop into comfortably. If you are at the top of the 32-36 inch range and broad-shouldered, go Evo L rather than assuming the standard will do.

Mounting is side-mount only. Sparco’s FIA steel side mounts (SS004902) and a car-specific sub-frame are needed separately.

Yes, it carries FIA 8855-1999 homologation. Every FIA seat has a not-valid-after year printed on its homologation label, and that label date is what a scrutineer checks, so look at the label on the seat you receive and check it against your championship regulations. Buying new means you get the freshest label the maker currently produces.
What do I need to fit it to my car?
This is a side-mount seat: it hangs between side brackets, the motorsport-style stack with fine height and angle control. You will need the car-specific frame, and a sliding runner if you want fore-and-aft adjustment. Does it work with harnesses and a HANS device?
The shell takes 6 point compatible. If you are planning the full seat, harness, and HANS setup, tell us the car and we will spec it end to end.

Fair question, because makers publish widths and weights, never feel, and two seats with identical numbers can feel nothing alike in the car.
