Homologated to FIA 8862-2009, the highest FIA seat standard, in a carbon shell. Seats at this level are what professional GT, prototype and top flight rally cars run, and they have to survive impact loads well beyond anything the 8855 standards ask for.
For a club car this is far more seat than the regulations require, and we would rather tell you that than take the money. Where it makes sense is a class that specifies 8862, or a car where weight is being counted properly.
Carbon against fibreglass
The GF version is the same approval in fibreglass at roughly half the price. What carbon buys is weight and shell stiffness. If your regulations are the reason you are here rather than lap time, the fibreglass seat satisfies the same scrutineer.

Mounting
An 8862 approval applies to the seat on the mounts it was tested with. General purpose brackets take the installation outside the homologation. Tell us the car and we will get the mounts and sub-frame right.
