An advanced class competition seat with head support built into the shell, in carbon. The wings come round past your ears rather than stopping at the shoulders, which under braking and through quick direction changes means your head is supported rather than working against your neck. Over a long stint that shows up as being less tired. In an impact it is doing a more serious job.
Where it sits
The ADV SC is the seat the ADV SCX was developed from. Sparco quote the two SCX models as around 3kg lighter each, with a higher proportion of pure carbon in them, and the SCX also adds lateral impact absorbers at the body contact points. If weight and the newest construction are the point, the SCX range is the one to look at. If the shape suits you and the budget does not stretch, the SC is the same idea for less.

Before you order
Confirm two things with us: the exact FIA homologation and expiry on current stock, since at this level the paperwork is the point and it runs from the date the seat was built, and the matched side mounts, because an advanced class approval applies to the seat on the brackets it was tested with.
