The Profi II-FE ASM is the dual-approval version of the Profi II: FIA 8854-1998 for competition and ECE certification for road use. The FE designation refers to the flexible-end fittings and the FE push-button buckle. That buckle is what passes road-use homologation; the standard aircraft buckle on the Profi II does not.

Three-inch shoulder straps, 2″ lap belt, lightweight alloy adjusters. Clip-in fittings with eye bolts supplied. Shoulder clip fittings are removable for direct roll bar attachment. ASM anti-submarining system throughout. Not HANS compatible. Available in black and red; driver and passenger sides are separate orders.

For a car used both on the road and at circuits, the Profi II-FE is the one that covers both uses. If the car is track-only and road certification is not needed, the Profi II ASM is cheaper and covers the same FIA 8854-1998 standard.

How long does an FIA harness last?
Every FIA harness carries a not-valid-after date on its label, and that date is what the scrutineer checks. Our guide on how long FIA harnesses last explains the labelling, and buying new gets you the freshest date available.

Does it work with a HANS device?
No. Only 6-point FIA harnesses work with a HANS device: not 4-point belts and not road harnesses. If you run or plan a HANS, look at the 6-point FIA belts in the range.

What does it mount to?
A harness needs proper anchor points: a harness bar, cage, or the car’s designed mounting points, plus a seat with the right slots. Tell us the car and seat and we will confirm the mounting plan before you order.

The Rallye and Profi ranges are held in stock

Those go out for immediate dispatch. We bring a batch of Schroth harnesses into the UK once a month, so an order can be allocated onto the next regular delivery.

Vehicle-specific harnesses take longer

Special order Schroth harnesses run to 4 to 6 weeks. The Westfield and Caterham harnesses are made to order and can take longer still, because they are built for that car rather than picked from stock.

If your car is one of those, ask us first. We would rather give you the real timescale than have you waiting on a harness that was never on a shelf.

Due to the specialist nature of our services, we do ask that you please contact us in advance to book an appointment. We have multiple slots available each day including selected availability at the weekend.

We carry a large amount of stock at our showroom and across multiple distribution hubs.
