The Peugeot Boxer is a large panel van that has been in production since 1994, sharing its platform with the Fiat Ducato and Citroen Relay. The standard driver and passenger seats are practical, flat cab chairs designed for easy ingress and egress rather than lateral support. In a working van, that is a reasonable starting point, but a driver covering substantial daily mileage notices the difference.
Part number 689919 is the Recaro direct-fit sub-frame for the Peugeot Boxer in the standard configuration, where both driver and passenger positions can be upgraded. This is separate from the rotary base variant and the drivers-seat-only kit. It attaches at the factory cab floor fixing points, carries integrated fore-aft runners, and positions the Recaro seat at the correct height and angle for the Boxer cab.
This sub-frame covers the Boxer with the standard fixed seat base, where neither the driver nor passenger position has a swivel mechanism. If your Boxer has a rotating driver’s seat, the RECB32XF338 is the correct sub-frame for that position. The distinction matters because the floor fixings are different.
The sub-frame fits Recaro brand seats only and suits base-mountable bucket seats and reclining sport seats. Side-mounted competition shells are not covered. Pricing is for one frame, one seat. If you are fitting the driver and passenger positions, you will need two. Tell us your Recaro model when ordering.
