The Mercedes-Benz C-Class W203 was built from 2000 to 2007 and replaced the W202. It was available as a saloon, estate, and Sports Coupe, the last of which dropped the B-pillar for a more open cabin. The W203 was the generation that introduced Mercedes’ AMG partnership products to a wider market with the C32 AMG and C55 AMG, both of which attracted owners who wanted to work the car harder than a standard C-Class.
Part number 687319 is the Recaro direct-fit sub-frame for the W203 C-Class. It attaches to the factory floor fixing positions without drilling and provides fore-aft sliding travel. The W203 uses a different floor fixing layout from the W202 before it and the W204 that followed, so the sub-frame is specific to this generation. The Sports Coupe on the same platform uses the same front seat fixings.
C32 AMG and C55 AMG owners are the most likely market for this sub-frame, though the C230 Kompressor Sport and C250 Sport attract track-day use as well. The W203’s platform is balanced enough for spirited driving, and a Recaro seat in the driver’s position complements that use.
This sub-frame works with Recaro seats only and covers base-mountable bucket seats and reclining sport seats. Side-mounted shells need separate adaptor bars. The price is for one frame, one seat. Contact us with your Recaro model and W203 variant when ordering.
