The Recaro double locking sliding runner, part REC364954, is Recaro’s universal fore-aft slider for base-mount seats. It gives 220mm of travel and uses a double locking mechanism: the lever disengages both the top and bottom locking points simultaneously, which prevents the single-latch failures that sometimes affect cheaper runners under hard braking. The locking is positive and audible, which matters in competition use where you need to know the seat is fixed.
These runners are primarily used in kit cars and custom builds where no vehicle-specific sub-frame exists, or as a standalone slider to adapt a seat to an existing bracket or sub-frame that does not include its own sliding mechanism. They are also listed as compatible with Cobra, Corbeau, Sparco, and OMP motorsport seats on side-mount installations, provided the base width is approximately 405mm, which is the standard spacing for most of those brands.
Recaro base-mount reclining seats and base-mount bucket seats are the native application. The runners will also work with Cobra base-mount reclining seats. They will not suit side-mounted competition shells without being used alongside the specific Recaro side-mount adaptor. This product is not car-specific and professional fitment is recommended for any application where the seat mounting is load-bearing in an accident. Pricing covers one runner, which fits one seat. Order two for both sides of the car. At 469 sales this is the most popular fitting product in the Recaro range we carry, which reflects its usefulness across a wide range of projects.
