The C2 is Citroen’s supermini from 2003 to 2009: a three-door car with a very short wheelbase, a low roofline, and a VTS variant that gave 125bhp from a 1.6 16v engine. The VTS attracted track-day buyers looking for a lightweight, rear-light-free pocket rocket, and it became one of the more popular small cars for sealed-surface competition in the mid-2000s. The C2’s compact cabin makes seat geometry critical: the car is already low, and adding unnecessary height with the wrong mounting solution removes the headroom that makes it viable for anything above a very short driver.
Part 867816 is Recaro’s sub-frame for the C2. This is the base code shared across three Citroen models: 867816 (C2), 867816-1801 (C3), and 867816-1802 (C4). The undated C2 listing uses the base code alone. The sub-frame mounts to the OEM floor points and includes integrated sliding runners. No drilling is required.
These frames suit Recaro base-mount reclining seats and base-mount bucket seats. Side-mounted competition shells will not fit without adaptor bars. One frame per seat.
