This is the Recaro replacement outer cover kit (part number 07098076184) for the Pole Position FIA Motorsport seat. Two colour options are available: Perlon Velour Black and Perlon Velour Red. The price covers one outer cover for one seat. The seat is not included.

The outer cover on a competition seat takes the most visible wear. After a few seasons of race use, scrapes from helmets and harness edges show on the shoulder area first. A new cover returns the seat to a clean appearance without any change to the shell’s homologation status, which remains tied to the shell itself.

This cover fits the Pole Position FIA only, not the Pole Position ABE. The two versions of the shell are dimensionally different at the cover attachment points. The separate ABE cover listing (RECT5PRL554) handles the road version. If you are unsure which Pole Position you have, check for the FIA homologation plate on the underside of the shell.

Recaro seats are produced in batches for the UK market

We receive Recaro deliveries regularly and hold good stock of the popular models, so many go out quickly.

Demand for the bucket seats is worldwide and production runs to Recaro’s own schedule, so the less common models and trims can take considerably longer. Ask us and we will tell you where a specific seat stands.

Before you order

If you need a seat for a date, ring us first. We would rather give you an honest lead time up front than have you waiting on a seat that is between production runs.
