This is the genuine Recaro replacement base cushion (part number 07094035176) for the Pole Position FIA Motorsport seat. It covers one cushion for one seat. The seat itself is not included.

The base cushion on a racing seat takes wear that the back cushion does not. Drivers who put serious mileage on a competition seat over a full season often find the base compresses noticeably before the rest of the seat shows any deterioration. Replacing the cushion rather than the whole seat is straightforward on the Pole Position and keeps the original shell, which still holds its FIA homologation validity on its own ticket.

This cushion fits the Pole Position FIA (the competition-homologated shell). It does not fit the Pole Position ABE. If you are not certain which version of the Pole Position you have, the FIA model will carry a homologation label on the shell underside. The ABE has different cushion geometry. If you are unsure, contact us with the label details before ordering.

We receive Recaro deliveries regularly and hold good stock of the popular models, so many go out quickly.

Demand for the bucket seats is worldwide and production runs to Recaro’s own schedule, so the less common models and trims can take considerably longer. Ask us and we will tell you where a specific seat stands.

If you need a seat for a date, ring us first. We would rather give you an honest lead time up front than have you waiting on a seat that is between production runs.
