Recaro direct fit sub-frames for the BMW Mini R56, sold here as a pair at 562.5.

What else you need

The seat itself fixes through its sides, to Recaro side mounts, and this frame is what the mounts bolt to. Recaro test and homologate the seat with their own side mounts as a whole, so the mounts are the ones to use, and they are ordered separately.

Model notes

Two frames, one for each side, for the 2006 to 2013 R56 Mini hatch. The R55 Clubman and R57 convertible share the floor. The single R56 frame is 295.31, so the pair at 562.50 is 28 under two singles.

What the frame does

It replaces the standard seat base with one made for this car, bolted through the factory points, at Recaro’s intended seat height.

Do I keep fore-and-aft adjustment?
Only with a sliding runner between the frame and the seat, which is a separate part on Recaro frames. If more than one person drives the car, budget for the runner. Our guide to sliding runners explains the options and widths.

Is this for the driver or passenger side?
Both sides are available on this listing, pick driver or passenger side at the point of order (sides listed are for right-hand-drive cars). Left-hand-drive car? Ask us, as the sides swap over and availability varies by model.

Recaro seats are produced in batches for the UK market

We receive Recaro deliveries regularly and hold good stock of the popular models, so many go out quickly.

Demand for the bucket seats is worldwide and production runs to Recaro’s own schedule, so the less common models and trims can take considerably longer. Ask us and we will tell you where a specific seat stands.

Before you order

If you need a seat for a date, ring us first. We would rather give you an honest lead time up front than have you waiting on a seat that is between production runs.
