The material that improves with age
Leather is the only one of the six that looks better after a few years than it did new, provided it is fed occasionally. Everything else in the range wears from its best day.
It is also the quietest against the back of your head, and it does not shed or fluff at the contact point the way a soft fabric can.
The care is real though. Leather left in a car through several summers without conditioning dries and cracks, and a headrest sits high where the sun reaches it first. If the car lives outside, that is worth thinking about.
Against the alternatives
The full choice is vinyl, vinyl and fabric, spacer fabric, leather, alcantara and leather and alcantara.
Vinyl gives a similar look for less care. Leather gives the depth and the smell that vinyl never quite does.
Headrests are the same price in all six materials, which is unusual in this range and means you can specify leather here without it costing more than fabric.
