The one that does not get hot
Spacer fabric is a three dimensional knit with an open structure between two faces, so air moves through it. That is the whole argument for it: it does not hold heat the way vinyl and leather do, and it does not go cold in the winter either.
On a car that gets used hard, or one without air conditioning, it is the material that stops the interior becoming unpleasant. It is also the one that dries out quickest if anything gets in.
Against that, it is the least formal looking of the six. In a classic being restored to original specification it usually looks wrong.
Choosing
The full set is vinyl, vinyl and fabric, spacer fabric, leather, alcantara and leather and alcantara.
Headrests are priced the same in every material, so there is nothing to weigh up beyond looks and how the seats are trimmed.
The wider range
Cobra retrim the interior parts around the seats too: the centre armrest, front and rear door panels, and the rear bench. Fitting new seats and leaving the rest is what makes an interior look half finished.
