The Planted Technology Seat Adapter is used to adapt the original BMW E36 seats to the Planted Seat Bracket. Like most other OEM seats, the BMW E36 seats do not have a universal aftermarket mounting bolt pattern, meaning it requires a model-specific adapter. The Planted BMW E36 Seat Adapter bolts between the E36 seat sliders and the Planted Seat Bracket, allowing them to fit securely together. This adapter will work with any of the Planted Seat Brackets, although modifications may be required to make room. Although this adapter works on all OEM E36 seats, please keep in mind that not all E36 seats fit in all vehicles. This adapter is made from 3/16 inch steel and is finished in a durable powder coat for a clean finish.
