Wide is the important word and it is a genuine choice rather than a label. PCI make this mount in a wide and a narrow version, and the one you need depends on the seat. A broader shell needs the wide mount to sit square; a narrow competition bucket sits better on the narrow one.
Tell us the seat you are fitting and we will tell you which to order. Getting this wrong is the most common mistake on S2000 mounts and it is a two minute question.
The slider
The seat moves fore and aft after installation. PCI’s S1 slider bolts to the base with four bolts rather than the two a conventional slider uses, which they describe as twice as strong as two bolt mounting.
If you want the lowest possible fitment and do not need the seat to move, the adjustable mount sits lower and costs less. In an S2000, with the roof and a roll bar to clear, that is worth considering.
Construction
Laser cut and CNC formed from one piece of 1/8 inch carbon steel, gloss black powder coat, grade 10.9 8mm hardware, five and six point sub belt mounting locations built in.
