The 197 takes its own part
The HC873 stem covers the Clio Mk3 and the Mk4 as well, each with its own suffix. The 197 is closely related to the Mk3 but it is listed separately for a reason, so order on the exact car.
Clio generations have caused more wrong orders in this category than any other model, largely because the names and the generations do not line up neatly. Send us the registration if you want it confirmed.
A car that gets tracked
The 197 is one of the more common front drive track cars in the UK, and a seat is usually the first thing to go into one. The factory Recaros in a Cup are good, but they are built around a three point belt, and that is what runs out once you fit a harness.
If your car has the Cup seats, they are worth keeping intact. A direct fit frame is reversible: nothing is drilled and they go back in.
Recaro compatibility
Worth noting on this car in particular. The plates carry both patterns, 345mm by 271mm for Sparco, OMP and Corbeau and 405mm by 290mm for Recaro, so you can stay with the brand the car came with.
