The DA0205HSL is OMP’s clip-in six-point saloon harness from the One range, sold under the Convertible name to indicate it is designed for a saloon car without a full roll cage. Clip-in installation means the shoulder straps fasten to a mounting bracket or bar rather than looping around cage tubing, which suits most builds where a B-roll or diagonal bar is not present.
This harness carries FIA 8853-2016 approval, the current standard accepted by Motorsport UK and most international series for car racing. For hillclimbing, sprinting, or circuit racing in a saloon car, it meets the requirement.
Shoulder strap width is 2 inches. This matters for head and neck restraint use: the 2-inch shoulder width is what locates correctly on a HANS device yoke. A 3-inch shoulder strap does not sit in the same geometry, so if HANS use is part of the plan this harness is correctly specced for it.
The DA0205HSL is available in black or red. Both colours carry the same FIA approval. The harness works with an aircraft buckle and pull-down shoulder adjustment.
