Only the GT 3D has sold more, and that is the cheapest homologated seat in the shop. The RS7 is a step up from it: deeper through the sides, no height note, still FIA, and 360 in velour. It is the seat people move to once they have decided the entry shell is not holding them enough, and a lot of them buy it first time.

The 3D SpaceTech RS7 is five pounds more at 365 and breathes better. This one is the softer, warmer cloth. Pairs are listed separately, 710 in velour and 720 in mesh.
Twenty-eight photographs, most of the colours
Black on its own, or with blue, grey, orange or red, and other cloths by request. The shell can be had in seven colours and your name can be stitched in. All colour work is made to order.
Homologation and hardware
FIA 8855-1999, dated on the label. Four or six point belts, six where a head and neck restraint is worn. The mounting hardware and a frame for the car are on separate listings; tell us the model.

Why does the RS7 feel tighter than its width suggests?
Because it sits you deepest of the Mirco shells, which is exactly why it supports best. On paper it measures the same width as the RS2; in the car they feel nothing alike. If you are between the two, that is the trade: the RS7 for hold, the RS2 for easy living.
Will I fit in this seat?
The maker sizes this seat for drivers with a 32in to 36in waist. Those are the paper numbers; how a seat actually feels to sit in and climb out of is a different question, and our showroom team sit in these seats every day, so call us with your height and waist and we will give you the honest answer.
Is it FIA approved, and for how long?
Yes, it carries FIA 8855-1999 homologation. Every FIA seat has a not-valid-after year printed on its homologation label, and that label date is what a scrutineer checks, so look at the label on the seat you receive and check it against your championship regulations. Buying new means you get the freshest label the maker currently produces.
Does it work with harnesses and a HANS device?
The shell takes 4 point compatible and 6 point compatible. If you are planning the full seat, harness, and HANS setup, tell us the car and we will spec it end to end.
How do I know it will feel right, not just fit on paper?
Fair question, because makers publish widths and weights, never feel, and two seats with identical numbers can feel nothing alike in the car. We keep the ranges on display in the Nottingham showroom, you are welcome to come and sit in them, and if you cannot get to us, call and describe your build, as the team sit in these seats every day.
