A Classic Mini seat package: Endurance Motorsport frames for the Classic Mini with a Corbeau VLS reclining sport seat in vinyl on the standard base. A reclining steel frame seat with black stitching, base mount, approved for road and track.

Standard base or low base

Corbeau list the VLS vinyl with Mini frames on both bases, at the same 993.22. The standard base sits you where a normal seat would; the low base drops you further into the car. In a Classic Mini that is a headroom decision before it is anything else. If you are tall or you wear a helmet in it, take the low base package instead. If you are neither, the standard base is the easier seat to get in and out of.

Vinyl

Wipes down, tolerates a car that lives outside, and does not mind muddy boots. The cloth VLS with the same frames is 738.62 if you would rather have the softer surface.

On the price

The Mini package prices predate the last Corbeau reprice and have not all been brought back into line. Ask us for the current figure before you order.

Fitting

The seat base mounts onto the Endurance frames, which are made for the Mini floor. Tell us the year and whether the floor has been replaced, since that can move the mounting points.

Corbeau seats are handcrafted here in the UK

FIA bucket seats are built to order, typically 3 to 7 days from the day you order. Kevlar and carbon shells take longer, so ask us if you are working to a date.

Reclining sport seats are also made to order in your chosen trim, and run to a similar timescale.
