The Volkswagen Jetta covered by this sub-frame is the Mk4, sold as the Bora in the UK from 1998 to 2005. The Bora ran on the Golf A4 platform alongside the Golf Mk4 and the New Beetle, sharing floor architecture but with an extended notchback body. The V6 Bora, the 1.8T in 150bhp and 180bhp forms, and the 2.8 V6 4Motion are the performance-oriented versions. A Bora with a K04 turbo conversion is a genuinely quick car in club sprint trim, and the platform’s known qualities make it an easy car to build. The floor fixing positions for the Bora/Jetta Mk4 differ from the later Jetta Mk5 and from the earlier Vento because of changes in the platform between generations.
This Corbeau sub-frame is built around the Jetta/Bora Mk4 floor fixing positions. The kit works from the original bolt points and places the Corbeau seat at the correct height for that floor. Depending on the specific configuration, the kit may be a complete replacement frame with sliding runner or an adaptation bracket set.
For base-mounted and reclining sport seats only. Side-mounted FIA race seats need different hardware. Priced at £245 exc. VAT per seat position. Order twice for both sides. Note the Corbeau seat model in the comments at checkout and we will confirm the combination before dispatch.
