The Volkswagen Type 2 T2 (1967-1979 in Europe) is the second-generation Transporter, recognisable by its bay-window windscreen replacing the split-screen of the T1. European production used rear-mounted, air-cooled engines from the Beetle family throughout, with 1.6 and 2.0 litre flat-four options in the later cars. The T2 is popular in light commercial class historic motorsport, overland touring, and as a restored daily driver, and the cab seat position is completely separate from the passenger and cargo area at the rear. The Corbeau sub-frame for the T2 works from the cab seat mounting points, not the rear passenger bench.
The kit uses the T2’s original cab seat fixing positions without drilling in most applications. ±10mm tolerance applies. Base-mounted bucket seats and reclining Corbeau sport seats only; not for side-mounted FIA race seats.
£245 per seat. For both cab positions, order twice and select the correct side. Confirm your Corbeau seat model at checkout so we can verify the complete kit.
