Direct fit sub-frames for the Vauxhall Corsa E, from Corbeau, 245. Made for this car, and bolting to the seat mounting points already in its floor.

E is the 2014 to 2019 Corsa

The fourth Corsa, including the VXR. Corbeau make a separate frame for each Corsa generation, B, C, D and E, all at 245, and they are not interchangeable: the D that ran from 2006 to 2014 has a different floor even though the two cars are close in size. If yours is a late 2014 car, the registration will tell us which it is.

Why a frame and not a universal

It uses the mounting points Vauxhall put in the floor, nothing gets drilled, and the seat ends up at a height that suits it. A Corsa E VXR with a helmet on is short of headroom on the standard seat, and this is where that gets fixed.

Frame, runners, one seat

The picture is generic. Your car may get a complete replacement frame or a runner and bracket set for the base that is already there. Corbeau make these frames for their own base-mounted seats, which means the Sportline reclining range and the Classic buckets. A side-mounted seat is outside what Corbeau designed these for, so if that is your seat, say so and we will work out the mounting. You get the frame and a pair of double locking runners for a single seat, so a driver and passenger set is two frames.

What's included?

What will be in the box? There are several types of seat frames which may be supplied depending on the vehicle and application. You may receive 1 of the following 4 types. If you are using them with a certain seat, please contact us in advance for professional advice.

#1. A full replacement frame with a sliding runner and resisitor kit
#2. A full replacement frame with a sliding runner
#3. A full replacement frame only
#4. An adaption bracket kit

Additional seat belt brackets: Each seat frame can be used for a variety of applications including road car reclining seats throuh to Motorsport FIA seats. Seat belt brackets are not required in a range of application so manufacturers generally do not supply them with their frame kits. If you require seat belt brackets please contact us in advance

Bolt point tolerances:

Please note that OMP, Sparco and various other brands have a +/- 10mm tolerance on the bolt point locations on each of their sub-frames. This means that when installing the equipment into your vehicle, you may find that one or more of the bolt points may need extending for a perfect fit.

This is normal and, when installed by a skilled professional, it may only add five minutes to the total installation time. A prime example is the OMP Renault Clio MK3 frames and the BMW E46 frames as two bolt points need extending by 5mm in 75% of installations.

Drilling of frames and equipment may be required to complete your installation.

Matching seats and frames:

There are over half a dozen different bolt patterns in the industry for base mounted seats. There are over 30 different bolt patterns for side mounted seats. Aftermarket frames from different brands will have different bolt location points. 

Seats and frames are not a direct fit between brands. Seat frames are also not suitabled for OEM seats (Fitted into a vehicle from the factory) Please ensure to contact us for professional advice before purchasing your seat frames. We will be able to provide you a recommendation as to which seat frame is right for which seat.

Will I fit in this seat?

What do I need to fit it to my car?

FIA bucket seats are built to order, typically 3 to 7 days from the day you order. Kevlar and carbon shells take longer, so ask us if you are working to a date.

Reclining sport seats are also made to order in your chosen trim, and run to a similar timescale.
