The Seat Leon Mk2 (2005 to 2012) shares the PQ35 platform with the Golf Mk5, but the floor rail positions are not identical between the two cars. Cupra R and FR owners are the most common buyers for these frames, though the 2.0 TDI buyers doing motorkhana and sprints pick them up just as often. The Mk2 is a genuinely popular track car, and the standard seats are wide and unsupportive by the standards of what you can fit into the space.
These sub-frames are sized for the Leon Mk2’s floor fixing points. They support a sliding runner arrangement so fore-and-aft adjustment is still available once the sport seat is fitted. The frame replaces the OEM runners entirely. In most cases no drilling is needed, though the Cupra R’s slightly different pedal box position is worth factoring in if you need a very precise seat position.
Corbeau seats only. The frame geometry is specific to Corbeau’s bolt pattern and another brand will not locate correctly. These frames are for base-mounted and reclining sport seats only, not side-mounted FIA competition seats. The Sprint X and Revenge X both use side mounts, so if either of those is the seat you have, this is not the right part.
